What has actually been tried

One home. Seven days.
An early signal, not a guarantee.

A multi-cat household used the same side of one insert for seven days. The owner reported daily scratching, cats resting on the board, little loose debris, and little movement with a cat on it.

The project owner then confirmed that the used insert could still be removed and flipped by hand, and the spare insert fitted normally.

One household, not a controlled comparison. The larger cat was estimated by its owner at 16.5 lb (7.5 kg), not independently weighed. No lifespan, odor-safety or all-floor stability claim is made.

The prototype’s two supplied inserts could be exchanged by hand. Future refill availability and final fit specifications are still being verified.

Two usable sides

The used insert flipped and fitted normally after the seven-day trial. The reverse side has not completed an equivalent wear test.

A frame intended to stay

The main structure remained functional in the short trial. Long-term durability and resistance to chewing have not been established.
